So I was watching this semi-final match between Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer and was so irritated with the commentators of that match. Federer may be God to you, Mr. Commentator 1 and Mr. Commentator 2, but there are people who watch the match for other players too. No, I don't think he is perfect, and no I don't think that he "rarely shows his emotions." In fact I think he shows his emotions most when things don't go his way. If you would please comment on the proceedings of the match in a fair and balanced way, it would make the viewing more enjoyable. Tennis is not about Federer and how he plays, his style, his fitness, his forehand or his emotions! There is always someone else who is playing against him and make sure you have some positive things to say about him. I am amazed that in a match where he lost in straight sets, the commentators first talked about how Federer was playing "some lose shots" then how "he is the more fit player," lest the match go to 5 sets, then how "he has some problems with Novak's player box," to "he is switching his game plan now," to "he has taken a break now to recollect his thoughts." PLEASE!! It is not about Federer all the time. He is a good player, but if on a day someone else is doing better, you can atleast say a few kind words to him and give him some credit for his game.
I eventually had to mute the commentary to enjoy the match! Remember people watch it to enjoy and not to get irritated.
